Lucas Louzada Pereira is a Design Productivity Scholar. Tech and Innovative Extension 2 - CNPq, Ifes Productivity Scholarship - PPP-1 modality, has a PhD in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande Sul (2017), Master in Production Engineering from UENF (2012).
Lucas is a Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Espírito Santo, IFES, Venda Nova do Imigrante campus and works as a professor at the Professional Master's in Agroecology at IFES, Alegre campus. He works with research focused on quality control in agricultural production systems, process control, with a special focus on coffee growing. He works in the studies of spontaneous and induced fermentation processes in coffee processing, develops research in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry and microbiology, with the application of different matrices to understand the determining factors of coffee quality.
Lucas is a licensed Q-Grader by the Coffee Quality Institute and Scientific Coordinator of the Coffee Design Group. He was a speaker at science and technology events as a speaker in countries such as: Australia (WFCP), Russia (Roaster Village), Colombia (Cenicafé and Santo Tomás University), he hosted the Cup of Excellence in 2017 as coordinator of the technical actions that were developed at the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo, VNI campus.
